Reminder about eReports 5/19 Upgrade & Changes to Standard Monthly Reports [5/09/08]
This communication is a reprint of an email previously sent to all eReports Users on 5/09/08.
Reminder to All eReports Users:
eReports 9 will Go-Live on Monday, May 19th. As previously announced, users should access the eReports 9 Simulation\Playground environment before May 19th to get familiar with the new system and install the new Interactive Reporting Web Client (formerly the Insight Plug-in). Important Information for Users of the PeopleSoft Financials Standard Monthly Reports:
As part of the eReports 9 upgrade process, the Controller's Office has reviewed the storage requirements for the Standard Monthly Reports. This was required due to the volume of files associated with these reports which now exceeds 1.2 million documents. As a result, the Controller’s Office has agreed to reduce the number of reports maintained in eReports by deleting older "Standard Org" versions of these reports and maintaining the Standard Monthly Reports based on the following schedule starting May 19th.

eReports will contain ONLY reports in Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) for all levels (Standard College, Standard Department and Standard Org). Important Note: In order to successfully complete the migration to eReports 9, the "Standard Org" versions of the Standard Monthly Reports for FY 2005 to FY 2007 were also deleted and will not be available to users on May 19th. These "Standard Org" reports will be re-loaded into eReports 9 during May and June starting with the most recent fiscal years. |

While there will be fewer reports maintained in eReports, users will be able to access the same Org level detail by using the departmental (Standard Department) or college (Standard College) level reports to find the subset of information that is required within the higher level reports. The search feature in Adobe Acrobat Reader can be used to quickly find the Org level information that is needed. If you have any questions about the Standard Monthly Reports that have been removed from eReports, please contact the Controller’s Office.
