Sales Tax Reporting Function Transferred to Controller's Office [01/28/08]
The Sales Tax Reporting function has been transferred to the Controller's Office from the Treasurer's Office, effective Feb 1, 2008. Steve Hoffman will be receiving the Sales Tax Reporting Forms submitted by the departments.
- A new email address has been created to accept these Sales Tax Reporting Forms at salestax@osu.edu
Note: please do not send to Steve Hoffman's personal email address. His phone number is 292-7540. - The date for submission of forms has changed to the 15th of each month from the 19th of each month.
- These forms reflect the prior months' Sales tax collections made by departments.
- Forms are due on this date to allow for timely preparation and submission of the rolled-up Sales Tax Return to the State of Ohio.
- Fiscal areas should consider having a back-up person available to perform this monthly task in the event that the primary person is out of the office.
