Self-Enrollment Now Available for Institutional Data Policy Training [8/11/08]

Employees who will be using a central administrative system* must first complete the Institutional Data Policy training module prior to receiving access.

Previously, staff needed to request access to the training, but now with one's OSU Internet username (last name.#), employees may self-enroll into the online Carmen course for the Institutional Data Policy training.  (Carmen is the university's online course management system.)  Step by step instructions are available on the BuckeyeSecure Web site via: http://buckeyesecure.osu.edu/Policy/InstitutionalDataTraining.

Completing the online Institutional Data Policy training is one of the first steps for requesting administrative system access.  Additional steps will vary per user as shown on the Security and Workflow section of the OIT site.

Questions regarding the self-enrollment process can be directed to Joyce Wagner at wagner.21@osu.edu.

*Administrative system can include PeopleSoft, eReports, Admissions, Student Financial Aid, BARS, MARX, University Registrar's Web site, Alma Mater and the Operational Data Store.
