eTravel Replacing Travel 4.3 and a Reminder about Submitting Travel Registration [8/24/09]
Effective Monday, August 31st the eTravel System will fully replace Travel System 4.3 which will be retired from use. Due to conversion, Travel System 4.3 and the eTravel System will be unavailable on Sunday, August 30, 2009.
- All approved travel orders initiated between 7/1/08 and 8/28/09 will be converted to the eTravel System. (This includes approved orders without a reimbursement, orders with pending reimbursements, reimbursed orders and approved orders that were later closed.)
- Travel orders that were not approved before 8/29/09 will not be converted.
- 5-Digit "T" Numbers from Travel System 4.3 will be the same in eTravel.
As an additional reminder, starting in August 2009, there is a change in how Travel Registration Forms are submitted.
- For university travel, fax forms to Accounts Payable at 292-2294. Be sure to include a T# on the form.
- For Office of Sponsored Programs travel, visit rf.osu.edu/travel.

Also, be sure to periodically review the Travel Office web site which will include any current travel industry updates which can also affect use of the system.
