Requisitioner Email Sent Upon Dispatched PO [10/06/08]
On 9/25/08 Software Investigation Request (SIR) 102059 moved into production for the Financials System.
This SIR will send a Requisitioner an email once a Purchase Order (PO) has been dispatched. It will send out a separate email if a change order is done to the PO. An email will only be sent if the order originated as a requisition. Direct POs will not have this feature.
Below are example emails that Requisitioners will receive:
1. Email text for a first time PO Dispatch
Requisition 11560950AA was built into Purchase Order 115609AA73 to Vendor FISHER SCIENTIFIC and dispatched on 09.03.2008 at 11:46:11
2. Email text for a Change Order:
A Change Order to Purchase Order 115609AA71 has been issued to Vendor BEER'S REPAIR INC and dispatched on 09.03.2008 at 10:23:22
Initial user feedback has shown that customers will appreciate the added convenience brought about by this change.
