10/22 Through 10/25/09 Financials System Downtime [10/19/09]
Dear Financials System Users:
This notification was sent in advance on 10/7/09.
The Financials System infrastructure is being upgraded. The scope of this project involves replacing the hardware and system infrastructure for the PeopleSoft Financials System (FSOSU and eMAT).
On 10/26/09, the Financials System will have a new login page (https://erpfinprod.it.ohio-state.edu/psp/fsosu/?cmd=login) and the Financials System menus will have a different look. See the ASSIST Job Aid for more information.
The current downtime estimates are:
The Financials System (FSOSU) will be unavailable from 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2009, with normal production batch processing resuming on Sunday evening and online hours resuming on Monday morning October 26th at 7:00 a.m. The Data Warehouse will be available during the downtime with data from 10/21/09.
For individuals who use the FSRPT database it will be available on Friday and Saturday (10/23 and 10/24) with data from 10/21.
eMaterials (FSMAT) will be unavailable from 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 23rd, with normal production batch processing resuming on Sunday evening and online hours resuming on Monday morning October 26th at 7:00 a.m.
In preparation for the downtime, you may want to save any reports that have been run in FSOSU or FSMAT on or before 10/22/09, as the results will not be carried forward following the upgrade.
