Accounting at OSU

Course Description:
This course presents basic accounting concepts, as they apply to OSU. The following topics are presented:
- Fund Accounting.
- Reporting.
- Balance Sheet and Income Statement.
- Debits and Credits.
- Journal Entries.
- Encumbrances.
- Reconciliation.
Prerequisites:
Debits and Credits.
Course Length:
Two four-hour sessions, usually on consecutive days.The course is instructor led, presented in a classroom setting.
Audience:
Any employee who works with one or more aspects of OSU accounting should take this course. Recommended as preparation for Journal Entry and Approval.
