Deposits


Course Description:

This course is designed especially for users who will be responsible for making Deposit entries using the General Ledger system. Participants will learn how to process Deposit and Other Bank Activity transactions. Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Enter and process Deposit journals.
  • Enter and process Other Bank Activity journals.
  • Copy a Deposit or Other Bank Activity journal.
  • Inquire on Deposits and Other Bank Activity journals.
  • Use Timesavers to facilitate Deposit and Other Bank Activity journal entry.

Prerequisites:

Basic computer skills using Windows and a Web browser (Internet Explorer is preferred).

Excel or other spreadsheet application.

If this is your first Administrative Systems training course, we encourage you to review the pre-training materials available online before attending this course.

Course Length:

4 hour Instructor-led course in a computer lab with hands-on practice

Audience:

This course is recommended for personnel who will be responsible for making their areas' bank deposits, and no other journal entries, as identified by the areas' senior fiscal officers.
