Current Issue Status HR 8.9: Help Inquiry Follow-Up

This page is being provided to help distributed HRIS end users stay informed about current Version 8.9 issues that have either recently been resolved or are currently being worked to a resolution. 

The intent of this communication is not to list all system problems that are being experienced, but to provide awareness about system issues that:

  1. impact critical business services.
  2. have impact on impending deadlines.
  3. effect a large group of people or system users. 

OIT and OHR centralized service areas are working diligently to address all production issues in a timely manner. This page will provide interim follow-up in cases where staff may not be able to contact each person immediately.

Hiring

 

Access error in "Add a Person" component

When entering new hire information for employees from a foreign country in the "Add a Person" component an access error occurs after clicking the "Add the Relationship" button. A system fix was implemented on April 3, at approximately 3:00 p.m. Impacted end users were contacted at this time. Any new issues should be reported to the HRIS Help Desk.
Job Data

"Search by National ID" page

Search by National ID page is not visible. This issue is resolved. The ÒSearch by National IDÓ page has been replaced by the ÒSearch/MatchÓ page.

Please use "Search for People" page instead of the "Search by National ID" page. The Path is:

Home/Workforce Administration/Personal Information/Search for People

On the "Find an Existing Value" page click "Search", then select OS_HR_PARM1. Enter the National ID, tab out, and click the Search button.

Timekeeping

Timesheet JED Overrides

Problems have been encountered when trying to do JED overrides for employees with multiple records on a record that is greater than "0". A system fix was implemented on April 5, at approximately 4:00 p.m. PET's will need to be processed for any JED overrides that were not able to be saved prior to the Timekeeping deadline 4/4. Please contact your Payroll Analyst for assistance.
Incorrect Leave Balance
Incorrect leave balances displaying on the timesheet page.
A system fix was implemented on April 3.
If you were unable to enter leave time for PP20 due to this error, process PPA's for the time with PP21.
Negative leave balance error message An inaccurate negative leave balance error message would occur when submitting sick and vacation time. A system fix was implemented on April 4, for the biweekly payroll. OIT is currently working on resolving the issue for Monthly employees. Biweekly leave time should be processed as PPA's with PP 21, Monthly exceptions can be processed as soon as a fix is implemented.

 

Additional Pay

 

Error message in "Additional Pay" component

"Additional Pay" error message related to inactive earnings codes RCH and LCT. This issue is currently under investigation. If you receive this error message, please contact your Payroll Analyst to ensure Additional Pay entries will be processed.
