To aid in the deployment of wireless networks at Ohio State the Office of the Chief Information Officer has made Enterprise Networking responsible for the registration of access points, and the assignment of the frequencies for the university.
To aid in the understanding and deployment of wireless networks we have created a wireless white paper (.doc).
The Ohio State Wireless network policy consists of two separate sections, the Policy on Deployment and Use of Wireless Data Networks is maintained by the Office of the CIO.
The Technical Standards and Operational Requirements for Wireless Data Networks is maintained by Enterprise Networking.
